Sammy's Story...
Kitty Junction is so very happy to say that sweet Sammy has found a loving new mommy and daddy to spend her life with!! Thank you so much Jessica and Matthew for seeing this cutie online and wanting to give her a furever home with you!! Jessica and Matthew say Sammy is a very laid back, super affectionate kitty and that her favorite spot is in their bed:) She also has found a new kitty sister in Chooch, Jessica and Matthew's existing 6 year old kitty!

Hi everyone! My name is Sammy and I am a beautiful all black female kitty approximately 1 1/2 to 2 years of age. I showed up recently in a maintained cat colony but it was very evident by how friendly I was that I once belonged to someone. A trip to the vet showed that I had not been spayed nor microchipped so my rescuer believes that I was probably dumped there:(

I am a super sweet and affectionate girl, a total love bug!! All I want is to be loved. I am so happy all of the time and am a purr machine!! I also have "happy feet" where I knead and make muffins in the air as you can see from my picture:) My rescuer believes I am very cat friendly as I enjoyed being around the other cats in the colony but I do appear to be very afraid of dogs.

If you have room in your home and heart for a very loving and affectionate girl, please don't hesitate to fill out an adoption application for me at or if you have any questions about me, please email!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Horsham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Horsham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Horsham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Horsham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Horsham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Horsham paves the way for another one to be saved.
