Comet's Story...
Meet our adorable boy Comet!!

This is one special boy, he's still learning how to be a dog. Comet is so fun and will certainly entertain you with his silly antics.

He is one character and very much a people pleaser.

Comet is wonderful with all dogs big and small, he's scared of cats so if you're a cat owner searching for a perfect Pittie Comet is your boy!

He's also is wonderful with pigs, interested at first but once he got used to the pig he just tries to play :-)

There is no way you won't fall in love with Comet.

If you are interested in meeting him please complete our adoption application located on our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Comet, a San Diego American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in San Diego, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
