Hi, I’m Mya! I am very soft, so gentle and friendly with everyone but am timid around unfamiliar men … they are so loud … but after a few minutes I ‘m a little more comfortable and within an hour we are best friends! My people are not sure where I came from but I was found in the woods by myself with no collar. Youngstown Dogs and Tanja came to pick me up and found me a wonderful foster home with another dog and two girls who think I am cute and soft and make the best snuggle buddy. It is very easy to verbally correct my behaviors (with an “ahahahahah”) and happily come when I am called. I LOVE to take walks, say hello to people and other dogs, sniff everything and walk very nicely on a leash. I am learning to play with dog toys and the gramma dog that lives here is teaching me how to act around dogs and kids. Sometimes I bark when playing but when mom asks me to “shhhhh” I do right away. I am also learning the command to “stay” along with the hand signal and to ring a bell to go outside but have not quite caught the hang of it. I am not having accidents in the house at all anymore and like to play musical beds at nighttime but usually settle down with Mom after the girls are asleep. I am crated when my family leaves the house for my safety and really want to be out with the gramma dog. I have been to the vet and am very healthy but was just spayed … ouch! I cannot wait to find my FUREVER home and would be good with any type of household. I love kids, other dogs and cats are ok but they don’t seem to like me. I am still a puppy and Doc thinks I am younger than 1 year old but I am very calm and settle down easily. Please consider me for your home … I would love to meet you! Xoxo and a lick!
