My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✰✰ ROSEY, Female 4 – 5 years of age 38 lbs & AVAILABLE - for more photos of ROSEY please click http://norcalbcrescue.org/rosey2015 ✰✰

If you are looking for a sweet, well-mannered, loving dog, our ROSEY might be just the girl for you. ROSEY is 4-5 years old and weighs about 38 pounds. She has a beautiful coat along with very clean teeth. She is a wonderful companion dog, gentle and kind, yet always loves a good romp outside. Toss the ball her way and see how she can fly through the air to catch it.

ROSEY gets along splendidly with the other dogs here at her foster home. She is also comfortable on her own, willing to be by herself indoors or out. She has not exhibited any bad habits such as barking, digging in the yard, or chewing inappropriate items. She seems comfortable hanging out with her people and does not seem to have any desire to break away and explore the neighborhood or do any type of rabble rousing. At 4-5 years old, ROSEY has reached that mature, comfortable and confident zone of dog life. She also rides calmly in a vehicle and seems to enjoy outings and go for a swim occasionally. ROSEY would work well in a household with cats - she ignores them completely! She can be s a little shy when first meeting someone, but gets over it quickly and warms to their affections. ROSEY doesn't jump up on to furniture or beds without being invited up. She is housebroken, including use of a doggy door.

One important medical note on ROSEY - she experienced a few mild seizures some time ago and was put on medication for this. She has not had any further seizures since being on the medication, though she must continue with this it until your vet says otherwise. For those interested in adopting ROSEY we can go into more detail on her medication, dosage, etc. We feel confident if you give ROSEY a chance, you will not be disappointed. She is a wonderful dog and would make a loving addition to anyone's life and family.

ROSEY is micro-chipped, spayed, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application (http://norcalbcrescue.org/adopt_info.html) and wish to enquire about ROSEY, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration.

ROSEY is being fostered In Loomis in Placer County, California.
