Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Tassie and I’m a gorgeous brindle-colored 3-year-old female Boxer-Lab mix looking for a family that can give me lots of attention and exercise. The Labrador in my DNA must be dominant because I love people and I love the water, whether it be the pond at the shelter where I chase our resident duck or the Atlantic Ocean where I chase the waves and dig into the sand. Because I consider myself the best family guard dog ever, my first instinct is to protect my family. I need to be properly introduced when meeting new dogs and other small animals and will need a little time to get used to them before we interact. Crate-training would also be wise so that I will have a secure place to rest when you’re not around to supervise. Give me a bone and I can entertain myself for hours, but you will need to set parameters and provide appropriate things for me to chew on. I know I’ll make a great family pet because volunteers are teaching me basic commands like sit, stay, come and walk on a leash so that when you adopt me I can quickly fit into your home and heart. I weigh approximately 75 lbs. and am up to date on shots, heartworm free and have been spayed. If interested in meeting me please email martowe514@gmail.com or call Margaret at 843-869-3869 for an adoption application.
