Cloe's Story...

Cloe

If you're looking for a smaller Labrador with all the great Lab qualities, Cloe might just be the girl for you. She always has a sloppy kiss waiting for you and a wiggly, wagging-tail greeting.

Cloe is a petite 45 lb. chocolate girl who loves being around people. She is about 1 year old. Cloe definitely prefers people over other animals, but enjoys playing with other dog buddies once she gets to know them. She can be a little nervous at first meeting.

Labs don't naturally come well behaved, but they do come with plenty of energy and enthusiasm! Luckily, it doesn't take much to keep up with this "fun size" beauty. Cloe has pretty good manners- no chewing, counter surfing, or accidents. She is getting the hang of basic commands and walking nicely on the leash. She is a smart girl and learns very easily.

Cloe gets pretty excited at play time, so she will be best with kids over the age of about 8. She is not interested in the cats in her foster home at all. She is spayed, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention.

If you are interested in providing a loving, forever home for Cloe, please complete our Adoption Application. Our adoption fee is $295.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cloe, a Coppell Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Coppell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Coppell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Coppell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Coppell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Coppell paves the way for another one to be saved.
