Daisy is a 10 years young, sweet thing! She is currently 17 lbs (down from 19) and is working on her weight plan! Daisy loves people and wants to be included in all fun times. Daisy has had a rough start in life and really needs to find her furever home. Daisy originally came to SPR 4 years ago because her owner couldn’t afford bladder stone surgery. SPR provided that surgery and 40 plus bladder stones were removed!! She went to a wonderful foster home with a mommy who fell in love with "Ms. Daisy" as she called her. You can guess the rest. That became Daisy’s new home. Jump ahead to 4 years later (now)and Ms. Daisy’s mommy unexpectedly passed away. She and Daisy were inseparable and Daisy is devastated. Per her mommy’s wishes, Daisy was surrendered back to SPR as she knew we would do our very best to find her a good home.
She loves golf car rides, car rides, visiting the neighbors, and walks. She is very well house trained. She likes other dogs and cats although she will bark at the cat. She is not keen on staying home alone but she does okay for a couple hours. Her hips get a little stiff if she doesn’t go for her walks or play in a fenced area.
Daisy is also battling Cushings Disease and is taking medication for it and it is under control. This sweet baby needs a furever home to settle down in, can you give her that?? She has earned it!
Daisy is being fostered in FL
