Cagney's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Cagney's Story...

Cagney is an extremely smart girl and listens well, house trained and crate trained.  Cagney is dog friendly and prefers a dog who is mild mannered and calm as she is too.  Cagney suffered from past abuse from birth to 4 months old until we were able to rescue her and her sister. She is afraid of new people and takes time to warm up to new people and establish trust especially men but once she feels safe, she is your best friend, who will play, cuddle and be your favorite companion.  Cagney is one of the sweetest little girls we've ever met but most people won't give her the time to warm up to her at her pace so she has been waiting for the right people who will understand that the best things in life are worth waiting for, especially unconditional love.  Email us for more info or application to meet her. Cagney would do best in a home with no young kids due to unpredictable movements and lack of exposure to young kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cagney, a Huntington Beach Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Huntington Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog from a breeder in Huntington Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
