My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tank!
Tank is a handsome, three-and-a-half year-old English Bulldog/Staffordshire mix who has found himself looking for a forever home. He is neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. All he needs is YOU!

Tank loves to play and cuddle! He is a very curious boy, however, so he needs to be on a leash at all times outside or lie in a home with a fenced-in yard. He gets along with other dogs for the most part, though he doesn't seem to be a fan of Huskies. He also gets along great with kids -- the younger ones just need to make sure the door to the outside is closed! He's also crate-trained and needs to be kenneled when his humans aren't at home.

Tank’s adoption fee is $100 and he is being fostered in southeastern Wisconsin. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

About Canine Cupids

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
