**Summer is officially here and Izzy is hoping her forever family finds her soon that she too can enjoy BBQs, pool parties and other fun summertime activities! This sweet laid back girl has a special adoption fee of $260.**
Izzy is a 80lb gorgeous lovable dog. This sweet girl enjoys going on walks, gets super excited to go on car rides & relaxing in the grass with her ball. Her favorite activity though is snuggling up on the couch to binge watch something good on Netflix. She's loves everybody she meets and REALLY enjoys being with children. Her foster mom reports that she is "the perfect houseguest!" She'll also be the perfect family companion!! :)
Izzy prefers to hang with the boys & is not a fan of female dogs. She likes less dominate male dogs & will even initiate play. No kitties or small dogs please!!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Event Weekend! First, CPR with be with North Shore Animal League on Friday, July 8th at Petland in Southbury, CT from 2pm-6pm. On Saturday, July 9th AND Sunday, July 10th CPR will be at Petco in Southington, CT from 10am-2pm for their "Be a Lifesaver" weekend! PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
