Meet Charlotte--a super sweet shepherd mix. Charlotte is young--approximately 1-2 years old and on the smaller side at about 40 pounds. Charlotte came to the rescue after her local stray hold was up. She is 100% house trained and very well mannered. She knows many commands and is very smart. She will stay off the furniture if told to, but will happily snuggle on the couch with you if invited up. She loves nothing more than to be around her people and especially loves kids. She will be the perfect family dog!
Charlotte loves to go for walks and is very eager to smell everything she can. If she sees a squirrel, she wants to chase! She seems to have a small animal prey drive, so she will do best in a home without cats/bunnies, etc. She might enjoy a dog friend, if introduced slowly and if that friend is smaller and submissive.
If you are looking for a child loving, furry family member who will give you smooches and be faithfully be by your side, Charlotte is your girl. Don't delay in meeting this special lady!

The adoption fee is $350.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
