Gracie's Story...
Meet amazing Grace or Gracie as her foster family lovingly refers to her . Gracie was found hiding under a car by her human foster brother and she followed him home. Lucky for Gracie her foster mom is a vet tech, so she knew just what to do to get Gracie back home. Sadly, no one was looking for this sweet, loving girl . We were contacted and asked to help find this special girl a furever home. Gracie is house broken , knows some basic commands and loves care rides! Gracie is in a home with a ton of animals, and is great with all. She has many dog friends and loves them all. She will chase cats, but she does not hurt them. Gracie adores children and her foster mom would love to keep her, but she already has so many animals and the expense it just to much . Gracie loves to snuggle but she is a young bully , so yes she does have energy. She is a beautiful girl who just needs someone to give her a chance. We estimate her to be 3 years old and about 65 pounds, she is fully vetted. To find out more info on Gracie call Margaret 630-253-1658 or email Margraet@addisonvet.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Lombard Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
