Morgan's Story...
This 12 week old lab/schnauzer puppy is a joy to be around. She listens well, she loves to be outside and has been going to the bathroom outside. She walks on a leash pretty good still learning. She absolutely loves water and will play in her foster's kiddie pool every chance she gets. She likes cats and knows not to be to rough. She slides all over the floors trying to catch them and play. She loves tug a war. She would do great with other dogs, cats, and children. She loves to play and take naps. She still has a little anxiety when left alone but calms down quickly. She likes an open pen instead of kennel. She is learning basic commands and has mastered No and sit down. She loves to lay next to you and is very loving and fun to be around. She is also already fixed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morgan, a Ridgecrest Schnauzer (Standard)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Ridgecrest, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Ridgecrest.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgecrest already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgecrest breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgecrest paves the way for another one to be saved.
