IDGSR WELCOMES SMOKEY INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!
Smokey came to IDGSR via a high intake Tennessee shelter, due to being undersocialized
he and his sister Sandy were extremely fearful,
we have worked with him and he is friendly and engaging now, he will need more hands on, loving this puppy, touching him alot, teaching him to be a sweet social puppy.
Pups should be exposed to things taking them out in public and meeting dozens of people so they are not fearful and feel comfortable.
As all puppies need obedience work and house manners.
Smokey is approx. 4 months old, he is just starting to get his adult teeth in.
Smokey is a sweet kid and loves to be held and touched and his new mom and dad will need to continue working with this shy boy.

Each dog's adoption donation varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (BABY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (ADULT)
$150 for dogs over 7 (SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing & monthly preventative and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
