My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I‘m Riley, a beautiful five year old cream brushcoat male Shar-Pei.

I was adopted four years ago and am back now because my owner could no longer take care of me. A nice lady came all of the way from NC to MD to pick me up. I am all settled in here now; and as you can see from my photo, I am a happy guy. I am shy, so it took me some time to get comfortable in my foster home. It still takes me some time to warm up to new people. My foster parents gave me the time I needed to trust them, and now I am very relaxed here. There are two other Shar-Pei (Katie and Brutus) here, and they really helped me to settle in. I love playing with them. I would love to have another dog as a companion in my new home.

I have allergies, but my coat has come in very well and I'm less itchy. I am quite a beautiful guy! Bru and I joke that we are twins! I love to play with toys, take long walks and chew on nylon bones. I enjoy camping with my foster parents and Bru and Katie.
