Buddy is an 8 year old, 11 pound Shih Tzu who is ready for his forever home. He was originally found as a stray in March and spent some time in a shelter. He was adopted from the shelter, but his new family found that he wasn't able to happily live with children. Buddy then came to our rescue and had surgery to remove a bladder stone. He is now just about healed from his surgery and he's feeling much better. Buddy is a very calm, quiet dog who is happiest curled in a ball right next to you on the couch. He loves to go for long walks and gaze out the door at the world outside. He is curious, cuddly and up for anything. Buddy is looking for a quiet, relaxed home with no children, and a person who knows how to be a leader and set ground rules for him.
Buddy is neutered, current on vaccinations, micro chipped, had a recent dental cleaning, and is on heartworm/flea and tick preventative. His adoption fee is $220.00 plus $16.01 for a total of $236.01. His foster mom would like his adoptive home to be within a reasonable driving distance of the Twin Cities and would like his new family to attend the annual rescue reunion in June each year.
