This adorable little lady is Poodle, an 8 year old maltese that is hoping for a fresh start in life. Poodle was turned in to us when she lost her home due to a divorce in her family. She also had a problem where she was getting picked on terribly by a big neighbor dog, so Poodle will need a home with no large dogs. She doesn't seem to mind dogs her own size. This petite girl is very shy and confused as to why she has been uprooted from her home, but once she gets to know you for a minute or two, she is happy to have you hold her and tell her everything will be alright. She is very sweet, quiet and gentle, and bonds quickly with people. Poodle is also very well behaved. She walks nicely on a leash and will sit politely when asked. She is very comfortable and loving with adults, but may have had an incident where a child frightened her, so Poodle will need a home with no children. This sweet little lady is anxiously awaiting her special someone to come in and swoop her off to a loving, forever home. File#24753 5/22/15
