My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET CALLIE! Callie is living at Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd). Stop in to meet her any time the store is open.

Hi ya, my name is Callie. I am a gorgeous, shorthaired calico cat in need of a lifelong, loving home. I am a great family cat. In fact, my foster mom calls me a big lap cat. I love companionship and to be with people. I have a friendly, affectionate personality. I get along well with other cats and I don't mind dogs at all. I like to play with cat toys and to cuddle and be petted. I come to people for attention and enjoy being held. I use a litterbox like a good girl and I love treats. If I sound like I might be the right pet for you, please apply today. Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

  • Adoption and Foster Care Application

    Adoption Process:
Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
