Aloha's Story...
This fluffy orange & white lover boy is very sure of himself & has never met a stranger. Aloha was born in mid-March, 2015. He is has the loudest purr in his litter, so you always know where he is. His tufted ears & super long whiskers make him especially endearing. Like all kittens, Al plays constantly with his brothers & sisters & loves his toys. He has started learning about dogs & seems to be sure they are his play toys. He sure doesn’t seem afraid of those silly dogs! We suspect he may be his foster mom’s favorite. He is current on his vaccines & deworming appropriate to his age & will be neutered when a bit larger. To meet or hear more about Aloha, call 540/586-6100 or submit an adoption application: www.bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aloha, a Bedford Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
