Hi Everyone!
I’m Lucky, a handsome and VERY loving Bichon boy of two who is the perfect blend of playful and calm. I love to go on walks, rides in the car and to be with other dogs and people. I love my toys (we’ll get to that in a minute) yet I’m also good at sharing. That makes me the bestest kind of friend.
Last month I was very sad because I did not know what was happening. My ‘original Mom’ got very sick and was going to Heaven and couldn’t take me. She told me that I would find another Mom (and maybe a Dad, too) who would love me like she did. So I went to this place called a shelter – but the good news is that
I got lucky (hence my name!) and got out of the shelter and became a FurKid! I now have a foster Mom who is giving me lots of love and attention – and a foster Dad who appreciates me. That helps me feel better already. I also have a doggy foster sister who is very kind. And once I’m in my Forever Home with my Forever Family, well then life will be just as wonderful as it can possibly be.
Did I mention that I love my toys? Well I do, especially squeaky toys. I’m learning to play ‘Fetch’ and Mom’s teaching me the command “Give.” You see, Mom’s pretty good at ‘Fetch’ too however she wants me to do a bit more work on my part. (Ok, Mom, I agree!) Mom says that I am, once again, enjoying the little things in life like toys, treats and companionship.
I’m 12 pounds of happiness who is very eager to please, cute, snuggly, friendly, inquisitive, playful and plucky. I’m good with children (and grandchildren), know a few commands, am smart and a great listener! I’m housebroken (I wait by the door like a champ), sleep in my crate through the night and, above all, am sensitive to your needs. My hair, which was shaved by the shelter, is now growing in soft and white. In just a little while I’ll have a full coat and be the handsome little guy I was meant to be.
While I’m sensational with people I know, and curious about new people, I do take a while to warm up. With encouragement, though, they soon become my new friends.
So if you’re looking for a handsome, happy, loving little guy who likes to go for walks and rides and give and receive lots of love,and if you have another furkid or two for company, then I’m the guy for the job. Mom says you can see in my eyes how happy I am when I am loved and near you! So if I sound like your kind of guy, please ask for me.
