Oh what to say about our girl Matilda? She is sweet, gentle, kind and just a lovely girl.

Matilda came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue from a shelter in southern Idaho where she was getting to attention from potential adopters. The longer she was there the more depressed she became and sadly her beautiful coat became a matted mess just from her pressing herself into the back corner of her kennel. Well we couldn’t have that so we put her in a Fuzzy Pawz foster home.

After some adjustment time and a good shave of her coat we quickly saw the real Matilda! The one who will head butt you or wrap her paw around your wrist begging for just a few more pets from you. The one who is good with calm children. The one who will make sure that the scared kitten also in foster care with her is safe and happy. Matilda is a darling girl with a soft and gentle soul. She purrs like crazy when she’s happy and love to be near her people.

Matilda has been good with all the other cats that have passed through her foster home while she’s waiting and is okay with dogs that will be gentle around her. She will need someone who is willing to brush her daily as her coat is super soft and silky; it tends to mat if not brushed on a regular basis; but it only takes a minute or 2 every day and it’s a great way to bond with her.

This lovely lady is about 3 year’s old, spayed, vaccinated and FIV/FelV negative
