Dolly's Info...

I am already spayed, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Dolly's Story...
Dolly came to our rescue when her former owner lost her home. Dolly is a lovely little cat--friendly and social to everyone. She is active and healthy and you would never guess that she is 14 years old. Dolly would make a wonderful companion for anyone who wants a loving partner. She is not fond of other animals and would do best in a home without small children or other pets. She has enormous golden eyes and is very soft and sleek. Dolly has been an indoor cat her whole life.
There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is always much needed and appreciated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly, a Quincy Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Quincy, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Quincy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quincy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quincy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quincy paves the way for another one to be saved.
