Hi, I’m Lola (black, 1 year old, 8 lbs.) and I’m Becky (tan, 4 years old, 10 lbs.), a pair of Chihuahuas looking for a new home where we can continue to live together as best friends forever. We’re so sad that our former owners, who are elderly, could no longer keep us, but we know there’s another family out there looking for a couple of little love bugs to share life with. Don’t let our small size fool you, though; we have a big, bold personality stashed inside our tiny bodies. While we’re usually cautious of strangers, we adapted very quickly to our new surroundings at this wonderful shelter and in just a few days began climbing into the laps of volunteers and showering them with doggie kisses. We’re a fun-loving, playful pair that would love to follow you around the house or ride along in a tote bag when you run errands. But we’ll be just as content to snuggle in your lap while you relax or amuse ourselves by playing together. We walk on leash real well together and potty as soon as our feet hit the grass, so we think our house-training skills will come back to us quickly once we live inside again.
