Hello there! My name is Henry, and I am a beautiful bouncing boy bichon who is 7 years old. I weigh around 20 pounds.

I was an owner surrender because my owner could no longer care for me. That kinda bummed me out for a bit, but Small Paws came along and gave me a second chance at a happy life. My foster mom can’t believe anyone would surrender me because I am such an easy going, low maintenance good dog.
When we are hanging out around the house, I like to lay in my bed, or on a pillow on the couch, and sometimes in my foster mom’s lap. I also really like belly rubs when we are sitting. I will roll over onto my back and look up at you with my big loving eyes and ask you to rub my soft belly. When my foster mom goes to work, she leaves me and my foster brother free to roam the house and I’m such a good boy! I’m doing well on not going potty in the house, and I sleep in the bed with them at night, too.
I am very social and love to meet new people. When we go for walks or to the store, I have to stop and meet EVERYBODY who crosses our path. Oh yeah, I totally LOVE to go for walks. I get sooooo excited when I see my foster mom reach for my harness, I start barking and singing. I like to go for rides too! All you gotta do is open the door and I will jump right in!! I am a good car rider too. I will calmly climb into the back seat and sit there like the good boy I am.
Children love me, picking me up, and playing with me. In fact, I greet them every morning with my wagging tail and kisses. I enjoy running around the house playing with my puppy cousins and I have been well behaved playing with my foster brother and when meeting other dogs on the street.
One thing you should know about me is I cannot control myself around cats. If I see a cat I have to chase it and bark at it. My foster mom doesn’t think I would hurt a cat, but it would probably be a good idea for me to not have to share the house with one.
I am up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and recently underwent heartworm treatment (so I should be heartworm negative).
