My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Armando, I am 5 months old and 25 lbs. and apparently I am really cute! (My foster family says so all the time.) I have had kind of a rough start in life, so I am hoping I can find a loving, patient forever home.

Before coming to my foster home, I had never lived in a house. Leashes are confusing for me, but thankfully I have my foster sister, Blair, to show me the ropes and how to behave like a family pet.

UPDATE:
Well I have been living in a house for about 3 weeks and I think I could get used to this! There's plenty of food, some toys, another dog to play with and people to love me. Now don't get me wrong, my foster family are great people, but what I am looking for now is my own people - my forever family.

If you're my family, you are probably early risers who wake up ready to have some fun. You are easy going, so you have the patience to help me learn how to be the best family member I can be. You love to be outside and want to take me with you. You will probably already have a dog to be my big brother or sister.

You'll understand that I am still a little shy and that I will need time to get used to my new home. Most of all you'll be ready to love me!

The adoption fee is $375.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
