My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Maggie and I’m a 1yr old, 10lb, long haired doxie.
I'm just 1 of 71 doxies rescued from our breeders home where we were found living in deplorable conditions! After being rescued....I was adopted out to a beautiful large family, who loved and cared for me! But in time, I came to realize, that small children and busy households just weren't for me. I will forever be indebted to them! As they were the bridge, that crossed me over, to you.
I'm a spunky, playful lil pup, who truly needs the companionship of another furry friend. I love other dogs! They give me the courage to do things that I'm too afraid to do on my own.
When I first meet new people, I sometimes get nervous and bark. I do have some behavioral issues which are manageable, but will require a committed adopter. With the right approach, I do rather well. I also prefer woman over men and need a quiet house with not along of comings and goings.
