Scarlett is a sweet Aussie mix that loves to cuddle. She is very calm. She follows her foster parents around. She runs and plays with other dogs but isn't hyper by any means. Her preference would be to take naps snuggled next to you on the couch. She is about half-way house-trained so she will need a patient home to get her the rest of the way. She is still a puppy so lots of chew toys need to be provided so she doesn't chew on furniture, rugs or shoes. Scarlett is learning to sit on command and seems to be very smart. We believe she is mixed with Great Pyrenees so she will be a large dog. Right now she is 12 weeks old and is 19.4 lbs. This little love bug will make a great family member!
Anyone interested in our dogs must be over 21. We are only able to adopt to homes within a reasonable driving distance of the dog's foster home and please be prepared for a home visit by one of our volunteers. We do not adopt on first-come-first-served basis, we want to make sure the dog is right for the family and vice versa based on what we know about the dog's personality, habits and behaviors.
