My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a pink white male chinchilla up for adoption. His name is Illi Chilla. Illi Chilla is around 1-2 years old.
Illi Chilla was brought to the rescue with his girlfriend (Lil Chin) and their baby (Potato Chip). They had originally been dropped off at an animal hospital in Illinois, and a manager had taken them home. When she realized she was in over her head with these chinchillas, she contacted us and we took them in. Lil Chin has now been separated and is on pregnancy watch for another few months, but Illi Chilla and Potato Chip are now ready to go to their new homes!
Illi Chilla is a sweet chinchilla. He is relatively laid back and does well with being handled and petted. He eats like a champ and enjoys lounging around in his cage. He does not bite.
Illi Chilla is currently housed with another male chinchilla, his son Potato Chip, and they can go together if desired. He might also be able to be paired up with a different chin, and if this is something you are curious about, please let us know. However, we cannot guarantee that any two chins will get along.
As with all of our chinchillas/rescues, this chinchilla will come with 2 pounds of food to start you out (Mazuri pellets), a baggies of chews, and a printed out version of our care packet. He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also offer a variety of other supplies for sale, including cages (new and used), chew toys, hidey houses, and much more.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.

Illa Chilla would normally be $100 to adopt, but with our Awesome August sale, his adoption fee has dropped to $75! Must be picked up by August 31st!
