Cissy's Story...
Hi there! I am Cissy, a 4 year old Tortoisehell Persian girl. I am very sweet and loving after I get to know you. I'm sorry about my pictures, but I like to put my ears back and as a result, I look like I'm mad, but I'm not! I do not like dogs, but if you you have one other non-alpha, laid back cat we can get along as long as I rule.My foster has seen me starting to trust as I like to come and sit on her lap, I will talk to her, accompany her to the bathroom, and I have begun to join her in bed at night. I must have somewhere to get up high, as Jackson Galaxy says, I am a tree dweller. I spend time at the top of the cat tree. If you are interested in adopting me to my indoor, safe permanent home, email the rescue at ccrescue614@yahoo.com for an adoption application. One of our volunteers will send you one ASAP.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cissy, a Columbus Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
