Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Azalea! With her sleek, shiny coat and extremely intelligent personality, this intense beauty is sure to catch your eye. Azalea was originally adopted from the shelter in 2014. After a almost a year in a home, they decided not to keep her. Despite her striking features, Azalea spent months at the shelter during her second stay waiting for the right family to come along. Turns out, it was a foster volunteer that fell in love and was able to find a temporary home for her to stay until she found her real family! In her foster home, Azalea loves to rough n' tumble with the other pups, throw toys in the air for herself, and hang out at Zippy's with her foster mom. Fortunately, this girl is already trained (house-, kennel-, and leash-trained!) and knows a few basic commands on top of that. With her smarts and desire to please, this girl is an ideal student and definitely ready to learn more for her forever family!
At just under 2 years old, Azalea weighs in about 40lbs making her best suited for an active household. This girl loves to be queen bee having other dogs she could boss around or getting to be an only child would be ideal! As with most shepherds, she bonds quickly with her family and loves having a job to do, so the more you work with her, the happier she is. All this girl really needs is a person to call her own. Won't you be that person?
Dogs in our program are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
Azalea is currently in foster care so, if interested, please email us today!
