Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER OR ADOPT!! Bring this boy home for the holidays! Russ has been living in a cold lonely kennel in Louisianna for waay too long. Saved from a high kill shelter, he waits and waits for a family to call his own. This handsome boy looks he has polar bear and a little white shepherd and some husky or Spitz thrown in. At 55 pounds, he is the perfect size. He loves everyone he meets--adults, children, and other dogs (but he has not met cats yet). Russ has been fostered and we get nothing but glowing reports. But evey time he goes to an adoption event, people seem to go for the younger dogs. We think he is the perfect age; He is housebroken, walks well on a leash and is an ideal companion to other dogs as well as children. He loves toys and loves to play. Although no longer a pup (we estimate his age to be around 6 yrs),Russell is active pretty active for his age and would love to go for walks, hikes and play with you. He does tend to get a little stiff in winter months but benefits from joint supplements. ( We think he might have had an old injury which flares up with cold weather--he does NOT have displacia) Russ just wants a family to shower with his absolute devotion and loyalty. If you think he is the boy for you, please copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Vetting includes shots, worming and neuter. Full vetting is included in his $150 adoption fee. Transport is $185 paid directly to the transport company which we will arrange for you. Of course, we cannot be certain what his true mix is so there is a chance he is not mixed with polar bear!
