My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Solomon. I am an 11 year old bear coat Shar-Pei that needs a new home. My Mommy could no longer take care of me, and there was no one else able to take me in. I had to live in an outside pen for four weeks in South Carolina and boy was it hot, but they gave me lots of water and shade and got me neutered. I was so confused and sad. Then a nice rescue lady came and got me and took me to NC. She gave me my own room and a nice bed, and it is so nice and cool here. I am a healthy boy, but I am 11 so I don‘t run and jump and fetch. I love to be loved and brushed. My Foster Mom has brushed me a lot, and boy do I feel better. I am housetrained and very well behaved.

I have not lived with other dogs, so it would be best for me to find a home and as only dog.

I know this is a long shot; but if you would be willing to give an old guy like me a chance, I promise you won't be sorry. I just want to be loved and have a human to hang out with.
