This sweet and loving girl is Lady, an 8 1/2 year old pug/boxer that has been hoping for a home of her own for so long. Lady came to us in October of 2013 when her owners surrendered her with really no reason given. Lady was quite upset at first to be uprooted from the only home she had ever known, but once she realized she was in good hands, she began to relax and make new friends. Lady is an adult but she has the hair of a puppy and always will. There are few things softer than Lady's coat! She has such a sweet and lovable disposition and she makes friends so easily. Her whole body wiggles when you go to get her for a walk and she is known to stand on her hind legs to give her friends and gentle hug and a kiss to greet them. Lady walks very well on a leash but does get excited when she sees another animal passing by, but a harness helps immensely in keeping her focused. Lady loves to romp and roam in our exercise yard and enjoys taking leisurely strolls to check out the world around her. Lady has never been one to enjoy the company of other pets much, but if she met a well behaved dog several times and had the chance to get to know them, she may be fine with another dog. She loves people of all ages and would make such a wonderful addition to any loving family that will give her the great home that she's been dreaming of. File#25059 10/4/13
