Hello World,
I’m Dewey and I’m an adaptable, adorable and good natured little guy, about six years old and weighing only 12 pounds. I am a very gentle and loving little bichon with a sweet personality and a happy smile, I’m certainly a grateful little guy, too, ‘cause I’m a furkid!
Dad says I’m a friendly little guy who gets along with everyone – and I get lots of practice. I also have a doggy foster brother and sister who are good teachers. They are showing me how to do all kinds of things including this thing called 'play!' And we have toys! My favorites are two stuffed animals (you can see one of them in my picture) that make this thing called a ‘sound’. Dad thinks I may have never had a toy before – but I’m making up for lost time! I carry my toys with me everywhere, play catch with them and take them to my bed. We curl up together and I smile a big smile! You can see how happy they make me!
Mom says that I am as sweet as can be and a real cuddle bug. (Silly Mom, I’m not a bug at all, just a furkid full of love for everyone I meet.) I love big people and little people -- and am gentle with kids.
I really, really want to please, come when I’m called, know some commands like ‘sit’, and thoroughly enjoy my walks. Dad says I’m good on a leash and good in the car, too. At night, when all the excitement and fun of the day is over, I curl up and sleep quietly in my bed, waiting to greet the new day with a smile on my face.
Mom and Dad think that I would do well in any family situation, and it would be great fun if there were some human kids in my forever family.

PS I had a skin condition that caused some of my hair to fall out (and I needed a protein supplement, too.) My hair is now coming back in, white and beautiful, and I'm strong and healthy now, too! Nothing but happy days ahead for me!
