Hi, I'm Oscar. I'm a playful and funny, 6-month-old, neutered male kitten looking for a lifelong, loving home. I love to play with other kitties and I love to play with Cat Dancer toys! I can pounce on them better than the other kittens. I'm really good at stalking and catching my toys. I use a litterbox like a good boy and I always clean my plate at dinner time. I have a sweet and friendly personality. I love to cuddle and I purr to tell you how much I enjoy the attention and companionship. I was rescued along with my sister from the bushes we were living in. I am so happy to be safe and inside now. I can be a bit shy at times, so it might take me a week or two to get totally used to my new home, but trust me, I'm worth the wait. I am very handsome with medium-length fur and I will need to be brushed about once a week. Please give me a chance! Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Saturday, October 3, 2015: Adoption Event at Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd). From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).
Adoption event dates for 2015: October 3, October 17, November 7, November 21, December 5 and December 19.
Sunday, October 25, 2015: Adoption Event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m. on the last Sunday of the month, come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event).
Adoption event dates for 2015: October 25, November 29 and December 27.
Adoption and Foster Care Application
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
