Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This animal is available for adoption at the ASPCA Adoption Center. If you are interested in adopting please call our Adoptions department in New York City at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4120.
Big fan of: His friends! Bear is very affectionate with people he knows. He enjoys a balanced lifestyle of playtime and lap time. Bear loves to be stroked and cuddled.
Not a fan of: Bear will need time and patience to warm up to strangers, especially men. He feels uncomfortable having people around while he’s eating or chewing on his bone, but our Behavior team can give you some tips to help Bear learn to share.
Special features: This sweet dog has been previously housetrained, and with guidance and supervision in his new home, he’ll learn quickly to only use the bathroom outside.
Dream home: Bear is looking for an experienced adopter in a home with teens-and-up. While he may make a few doggy friends, Bear would like to be the only pet in your household.
