Dottie's Story...
Isn't little Dottie Gorgeous! This beautiful six year old Cocker Spaniel is looking for her new fur-ever home. Dottie is as sweet as can be and is sure to be a fantastic new addition to your home. This darling girl adores kids, and has done well with all the dogs around her size at the adoption center. She adores cookies, and enjoys going outside in nice breezy days for fresh air. Dottie walks well on the leash and would be a great new exercise partner, (she needs to loose a little weight). She does need a new owner that can be sure to take her to the groomers regularly so that her hair doesn't get tangled. She is up to date on her vaccinations, is microchipped, and spayed! She did unfortunately test positive for heartworms, but don't let that keep you from adopting this wonderful girl! Her treatment is covered in the adoption thanks to generous donors! Stop by to visit with this cutie today! We are open from 12-6 daily!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a Benbrook Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
