My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our 5-6 month old sweetheart named Benjamin. Benjamin is a lab mix pup. Benjamin is one of the sweetest, happiest dogs. He loves everyone he meets and expects them to either wag their tail for him or bend down and give him a hug! Benjamin was pulled from a high kill shelter in TN. He weighs about 30 pounds and will be a med-large boy when grown. If you have ever heard the expression "wouldn't hurt a fly" well that is Ben. Benjamin is in a foster home with other dogs and gets along great with everyone. He is practicing up on his potty skills and is doing a great job. Benjamin is ready to meet his new family and call someplace HOME!

If you are interested in giving Benjamin a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Benjamin's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.

Benjamin is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to his new home once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport service to the northeast (PA, NY, CT, VT, ME) and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
