Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Parker and I'm a five-year-old hound mixed with something else. But I'm 100 percent sweetheart. I'm housebroken, crate trained and I walk great on a leash.
I haven't always had a great life. When the Mahoning County Dog Pound picked me up, I had flea bites on my ears and a BB in my butt. I was so scared at the pound I had a seizure. The nice people at Friends of Fido took me to the vet who put me on medication. I haven't had a seizure since. From there, my luck started to change. Legacy took me in and I learned how to be an inside dog while living in a foster home. Now that I've gotten used to it, I really like it! I see what I've been missing for all these years. I'm especially fond of furniture and air conditioning. I enjoy my daily walks and the occasional romp with my doggie foster brother, but beyond that I'm a pretty low-energy guy.
I can be a little shy at first with both people and other dogs. Despite everything I've been through, I still love people. Now I just need someone to love me back. What about you? My tail got docked somewhere along the way so I don't have much to wag. But I promise to wiggle everything I've got every time you come home. I really am a good boy who just needs a second chance.
