Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Annie is a beautiful Lhasa Apso/Poodle mix and is approaching her fourth birthday. Annie's first two years were spent in a breeding kennel. Her new life began in October 2013. Like many dogs that started out as investments instead of pets, Annie had a few litters, then was released to rescue. Annie is in excellent physical health and weighs 18 pounds. Her weight is considered perfect for her stature.
Annie's first lesson in foster care was to trust people, and she is still learning, but doing well. Annie enjoys the simple things in life. One of her favorite places is the bay window in the living room. It's Annie's place in the sun, where she thinks about life and watches the world go by. Annie's favorite activities include lap and nap time and emptying the toy basket.
Annie walks well on a leash but can be nervous in high traffic areas. She prefers walks on quiet streets and local parks. Annie's ideal home would be with an experienced person or couple and another small dog to continue learning from. Annie is fostering in New England, and waiting for her forever home.
