My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darby came to us from one of our favorite, hardworking shelters. She is a petite husky/shepherd mix, weighing in at around 40lbs with one chocolate brown eye and one ice blue eye. Quite a stunner. She is approximately two years old, and has many of the husky personality traits, happy but aloof, vocal (she loves to "roo" at you), and LOVES to be outside (she can lay in the sun watching birds for hours). She is medium energy, LOVES all people, especially men and children, but we do recommend children over seven (7) as she is still a little shy. She is great with other dogs and fine with cats and is looking for a family to give her the wonderful spoiled life she never had, but so deserves. Breed/working or herding dog experience preferred and a physical fence is a must.

Darby's adoption fee is $250. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.

ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25 except on a case by case basis. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions, though rare, may be made on a case by case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
