My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Veronica is a young, happy -go- lucky, energetic and OH, SO LOVING 3 year young, spayed female terrier and possibly boxer mix, heartworm negative, about 70lbs, and up-to-date with all vaccines. This girl is a true love bug; she loves to be around people and interact with them, and like many huskies and terriers will certain talk to you if ignored ;-). She is a great car rider, thrives on the companionship and interaction with family, loves her treats, snuggles and is willing to give kisses to anyone that will accept her affection. Veronica has a lot of energy (because she is young), but settles down once she has had her play time. She loves to be outside and take walks in the yard. When going on a walk, she is more than happy to find a stick and take it on her adventures with her. She could some training on the leash, but overall is a great dog.
Toys are also a LOVE of hers. She does well with the KONG toys because they are more durable for her. Veronica does well with other dogs, but isn’t a fan when they take her toys. Her toys are not something she cares to share.
This special girl had the opportunity to visit a business (for a speaking event); her handler said “She loved everyone; she is a very social girl giving and receiving attention to the crowd that surrounded her! They gifted her with a squeaky toy which she love; she is very toy driven.” Volunteers that have worked with her have commented she has potential to be a great "pet therapy" dog with some training.
