Fangtasia (Spayed)'s Story...
"Fangtasia" is a beautiful 2-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on May 28, 2015. She has a white-and-orange tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a very pretty face with a pink nose and golden eyes. "Fangtasia" is a wanna-be social butterfly and quickly comes running to the front of her cage when visitors walk by in hopes that they will give her some attention. This girl is a 'light sleeper' and even when she appears to be taking a serious nap, the moment she hears someone touch the latch on her cage door she is "Wide Awake" and at the door :) "Fangtasia" is a fairly large kitty who weighs approximately 10 lbs. She was spayed on June 5, 2015 and was also given rabies vaccine. A compassionate lady who fell in love with "Fangtasia" but couldn't adopt her personally made a donation to Friends of Feline Fund to cover her spay procedure and has also paid her adoption fee!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fangtasia (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
