My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Dawn" is a beautiful female kitten who arrived at the HSOV on April 25, 2015 after she and her brother (Dakota) were found in the Marietta, Ohio area. "Dawn" and her brother were tiny 2-week old babies at that time, and they were very fortunate indeed when one of our wonderful kennel techs took them home with her that very day to foster and care for until they were old enough to find homes of their own :) "Dawn" has a brown tabby short smooth coat in a unique spotted/striped pattern with orange highlights, a long tail, and an adorable chubby-loooking face with soft trusting eyes. Her foster mother has given her and her brother extra TLC from day one, and we hope that they might find a home together. "Dawn" was given vaccinations and wormer on June 11, 2015. "Dawn" was spayed on August 14, 2015 and was also given rabies vaccine. We took the opportunity late that afternoon to take updated photos of "Dawn" :) This little beauty currently weighs 4.8 lbs. "Dawn" was combo tested on October 12, 2015 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. She and her brother "Dakota" went to a fantastic foster home on December 19, 2015. They are available for adoption/rescue by calling the HSOV at 740.373.5959 or by sending an email to manager@hsov.org
