Avery (Neutered)'s Story...
"Avery" is an adorable male Tuxedo kitten who was born on June 21, 2015 shortly after his mother ("Violet") went home with one of ourisonderful foster mothers. He also has a darling little brother ("Jax") whom he loves, but he dearly loves her momma :) "Avery" has a black-and-white short smooth coat in a tuxedo pattern, a long tail, and a beautiful kitten face with a white 'beauty' mark beside his nose and extra-long white whiskers. "Avery" has silvery threads throughout his coat which makes him even more beautiful. This little lovebug has a sweet, playful personality, and he is a happy, socialized youngster. "Avery" and her family are now back in our shelter and are ready for find homes of their very own. These photos were taken on October 11, 2015 and replace his tiny 'baby' pictures since "Avery" is now a 4-month old young man and a real 'social butterfly' :) Avery's mother has been combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. "Avery" was neutered on October 23, 2015 and was also given rabies vaccine. Her adoption fee would be just $20 with an approved adoption application. "Avery" and his family are currently at the WeLovPets Store, Lafayette Plaza, Marietta, Ohio where they are available for adoption through the HSOV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Avery (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
