Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Smiley is a 6 lb, 10 yr young guy who spends a lot of time smiling so it seemed appropriate to name him Smiley. Though he may be one of our "senior citizens" with not the best of eyesight, he has a lot of life left in him. Anyone adopting him best be prepared to have him around for quite a long time.
His Foster Mom, who likes fostering the calm seniors, has complained that she can hardly keep up with him as he is so active. Now you see him, now you don't, as he is up, he's down, he's here, he's there, he's playing with this toy, no that toy, he's inside, no he's just run outside!
His Foster Mom does love that he is not a big barker; however; when he does bark, he makes people laugh, no yappy, little dog bark for Smiley as he has a big dog bark.
Smiley is our slight special needs dog as he has dry eye so he needs drops every day and he has a touch of arthritis, neither of which holds him back. As is the case with most Yorkies, he lets you know when he wants what he wants. He walks nicely on leash, loves his walks and sleeps wonderfully well in his crate through the night.
