Hello Everyone,
My name is Sassy and I'm a sweet little bichon of five. My foster Mom says I'm a pretty ‘package’ weighing only twelve pounds. She says that good things come in small packages. I think Mom knows I’m really not a package - I’m a furkid!
Mom also says that I’m a girly girl. I’m delicate, sweet and gentle. Since I came to my foster home I have been discovering this brand new world. I’m learning commands, am housebroken, enjoy my walks and rides in the car. And I’ve only been here a few days!
Another exciting thing has happened to me!! I’ve learned to play (with my doggy foster brothers it wasn’t much of a choice because they just loved me from the minute we met.) They’ve taught me how to run, chase, play with toys and more! Mom thinks it may be the first time I’ve ever had someone my own age and size to play with – and I like it a lot! I guess you could say that I’m coming into my own – and that feels really good.
So with other furkids around I’m not afraid any more. (Mom said I used to have that thing called separation anxiety but knowing there are other furkids nearby makes me feel more secure.) She says I’m meeting all kinds of people and showing the best of manners. Why the pool man and I got to know one another today – and he had me eating out of his hands (literally and figuratively.)
Mom says to tell you that I have the most beautiful brown eyes that look back at her with only love. She says I definitely want to form a bond with my forever person so I’m practicing with her.
My Aunties said to tell you that I’m very attentive, S-M-A-R-T and want to please. I do, however, need another young furkid to play with and to model, so that I can be as fearless as I am beautiful.
