Cricket's Story...
Cricket is a very sweet DLH one year old girl who craves attention. She is very sweet and loves sitting on your lap or being picked up and cuddled. She loves chasing laser pointer toys and chasing the feather wands and mice with the kittens. She is very sociable with people and with other cats and wants to be friends with everyone. She also plays mom to all the kittens and tries to clean them, play and curl up with them. Cricket was rescued from an overcrowded animal control after just giving birth to four kittens. Her kittens have been adopted and it is now Crickets turn.
This sweet and adorable girl is waiting to meet you at PetSmart Etobicoke!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cricket, a Oakville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Oakville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Oakville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakville paves the way for another one to be saved.
