My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a predominantly white mosaic male chinchilla that is looking for his new home. He came to the rescue not long ago, and we were given his birthdate as 4/13/15. This makes him right around 4 months old. Now is the perfect time for him to go to his new home and bond with his new family.
This male is pretty much solid white in color. While his color is called “mosaic,” he would be classified as a predominantly white.
This boy is super sweet. He’s relatively easy to pick up. When you have him in your arms, he does well with being handled and petted, and I might even go so far as to say that he likes to be petted. Once he feels secure in your arms, and you’re petting him, he just relaxes and lets you continue to pet him. He is super friendly and curious. He doesn’t bite.
We don’t know if he gets along with other chinchillas, though if you are curious, let us know (though we can’t guarantee that any two chinchillas will get along).
This chinchilla would make a great “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had chinchillas before.
This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (2 pounds of Tradition pellets), a goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet, fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire, and provide proof of cage. If you are unwilling to do these things, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
