Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOSTER LOCATION: Nampa, ID
Our new Queen of the Doxies at Fuzzy Pawz Rescue is a graceful eight year old, 18 lb, smooth red goddess named Rollie (Roe-leigh) who would like to tell you about herself.
You like girls with beautiful curves, right? A little padding for the petting? I know when I see a Greyhound I’m like “someone get that dog a milk-bone”, you know what I’m saying?!? Seriously though, I have lost a little over 20 lbs since being in my foster home and I feel so much better!!
Some might say I am shy, but once I trust you look out! I do love people, I love attention, I even love to snuggle, but I am pretty darn shy at first so I need someone who is patient enough to let me warm up. Kids 12+ will suit me just fine, and I can totally share my home with your other dogs (although I am not a fan of hyper puppies!) or your cat. I am a calm and well-mannered girl!
I love to cuddle under blankets and enjoy going for walks. I am house trained and know all my basic commands. I am also crate trained, but I really prefer to be out and part of the family; well and to be asleep under the covers on your bed!
When I go outside I prefer to have to company of my family. If you go in without me I will sit at the back door, cry and scratch asking to please be where you are; however when you are with me I am happy to stay out as long as you like.
Did I hear car keys?!? I love to go for a ride in the car and I am a very well behaved girl. My foster Mom has it set up where I can look out the window when I ride and I LOVE it! Fair warning if I can't see out the window, I am going to try and figure out a way I can. I don't like open windows, I just like to observe the world go by.
Now a little about my medical history, don't worry, it is NOT bad! I have a low thyroid and I take inexpensive medication twice a day. I just had a recheck and I won't need to be checked again for a year. I have recently had a dental cleaning and a few teeth removed as well as some warts around my eye and a cyst on my tail. I am all healed up now and just hoping my hair grows back soon!
I am spayed, microchipped, current on my vaccinations and blood work!
If you would like to meet the ever wonderful me please fill out an application with Fuzzy Pawz Rescue: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ I know I would love to meet you!
Oh and there is a $50 adoption fee, but I’m totally worth that and more!
